Scope

These instructions apply to the whole repository.

Visual Validation

• For any visual check or UI acceptance, start the site with npm run docs:dev.
• Do not open generated HTML files directly in the browser.
• Do not create ad-hoc preview scripts or start a separate static file server just to inspect pages.
• Prefer npm run docs:dev -- --host 127.0.0.1 --port <port> when you need an explicit host or port.

Port Rules

• Avoid port conflicts before starting the VuePress dev server.
• If the default port is already in use, choose another free port instead of forcing a second server onto the same port.
• When a dev server is already running for this repo, reuse that server when possible rather than starting another one.
• If a new server is required, use a single free port and keep the chosen port consistent through the current validation flow.

Build And Preview Policy

• Use npm run docs:build for build verification.
• Use npm run docs:dev for runtime and visual verification.
• Do not substitute direct HTML preview for VuePress runtime behavior.
